OPERATION: WAVELENGTH
SITUATION :
Intercepted communications between Sentinel and an unknown individual in Russia confirms delivery of three packages to Sentinel outposts in CHANNELS province. We believe the contents of the packages are radioactive components for an underground weapons program.
MISSION:
Our mission is to recover all three packages and abort Sentinel's plan to assemble radioactive payloads.
CONCEPT OF OPERATION :
Team will deploy after sundown from SOUTH CAPE STATION, approximately 10 Klicks from the AO. We will be using gear to minimize radiation exposure and help with identification : specialized lead plates, potassium iodide tablets and handheld geiger counters. The latter will be used to pinpoint the exact location of the components at each sites. This operation is a seizure, covert status is critical. Multiple SAM sites are setup in the region and Murmur drones are patrolling part of the AO so keep an eye on the sky. Pilot will fly at maximum altitude before reaching the maritime IP. To avoid detection, we will HELOCAST at the IP near Hunt Beach and SCUBA DIVE to reach the coast. We will then change to our DRY BLACKS PPE and push to the targets on foot. After all packages are secured, team will proceed to HLZ Sparrow for extraction. We will need to be quick and efficient to minimize our exposure to radiation once we carry the packages.
OBJECTIVES :
1-Reach ALPHA and seize the first component, partial intel points to the comms building.
2-Reach BRAVO and seize the second component, it has been moved to a warehouse building near the second dock.
3-Reach CHARLIE and seize the final component being held in a small depot awaiting a change of hands, we need to make sure we recover the package before that happens.
4-Proceed to HLZ Sparrow for extract.
